The Kabuki Warriors (c) vs. Fire and Desire – Women’s Tag Team Championship

Fire and Desire have been on a roll as of late. Or, rather, Mandy Rose has thanks to some assistance from a certain lovelorn Otis. The rate they are going right now, especially after both had a decent showing in the Royal Rumble match, I think they can carry that momentum into receiving a Tag Team Title shot against Asuka and Kairi Sane.

Of course, you would expect Otis to make an appearance (as would Sonya Deville), but in doing so, I can see him costing Deville and Rose their titles somehow. While would inspire Deville to berate Otis in some way or another, Rose coming to his defense, and then, ultimately, dissension among Fire and Desire as a unit.

Winners: Kabuki Warriors

Andrade (c) vs. Humberto Carrillo vs. Rey Mysterio – United States Championship

The US Title bout between Andrade and Humberto Carrillo on the Kickoff Show last night ended … weirdly abrupt, to be honest. I sincerely doubt that their storyline is ending just like that, especially after it only just kicked back up on last week’s Raw after Andrade successfully defended the belt against Rey Mysterio in a Ladder Match.

Asking these two to carry and further their feud for an extra month and a half into a March PPV is asking a lot, but it may be a smoother transition if Rey Mysterio remains in Andrade’s cross-hairs. And if that happens, it could offer us a match featuring three generations of luchadors, which should make for an entertaining match-up.

Winner: Andrade
