Jon Moxley vs. Jimmy Havoc

More from All Elite Wrestling

Hardcore deathmatch wrestling is something that All Elite Wrestling have fully embraced when it comes to showcasing the concept and Jon Moxley is someone who has taken full advantage of it. Bloody and chaotic matches with Kenny Omega and Joey Janela were hailed as some of the company’s best matches of 2019.

If Moxley continues his escapades into the world of hardcore wrestling, then a collision with deathmatch enthusiast Jimmy Havoc seems imminent.

It has been awhile since we have seen the former Progress World Champion inside of an AEW ring, mostly because he is simultaneously signed to MLW and has obligations to fulfill there and at indie bookings. But in numerous interviews, Havoc has professed about how badly he wants a match with Jon Moxley. Mox himself has yet to be asked about Havoc, but given that they share a similar deathmatch upbringing, it’s hard to imagine the feeling not being mutual.

When Havoc’s schedule clears up enough that he can make a triumphant return to AEW TV, we can only hope that he can do so in a hardcore match with the former WWE Champion that’ll tear the roof off the place. Perhaps literally, depending on how chaotic a match between the two could get.
