Report: Shawn Michaels and Triple H ‘big’ on two NXT UK stars

WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels is big on NXT Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin, according to Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT. Michaels wants him to defend the Cruiserweight Title across all brands.

Devlin won the the NXT Cruiseweight Title at WWE Worlds Collide. It was in a fatal four-way match between then-champion Angel Garza, as well as Travis Banks and Isaiah “Swerve” Scott.

It was a very intense match between the four, but in the end, Devlin won.

It is no surprise Michaels is a fan of Devlin. Devlin is an exciting young and upcoming superstar in NXT UK.

With Michaels taking over NXT UK, I expect Devlin to have a very lengthy title reign and defending it across every show.

It will be interesting to see how his title reign would look like, especially with the expectation is that he will be defending it on Raw, SmackDown, NXT and NXT UK.

You can create a lot of interesting storylines if that is indeed what will happen.

It also seems like we could be seeing a big push at NXT UK very soon for Ilja Dragunov. It sounds like Triple H is a very big fan of his.

Even though Finn Balor defeated Dragunov at WWE Worlds Collide, it is nice to see Triple H is a huge fan of his.

It will be interesting to see what type of push Triple H will give to Dragunov. I think a feud between him and Devlin would be a place to start.

That would be a fun and exciting feud between two young upcoming superstars on NXT UK.

The brand has a lot of rising stars that need builded up, and it would be great for the WWE to start with those two and work from there.

I am very excited for the NXT UK brand going forward. It seems like they are trying to push a lot of superstars that we could see on the main roster in the near future.
