Joey Janela vs. Kip Sabian – Unsanctioned Street Fight

In a feud that blends reality with fiction, Kip Sabian and his real life girlfriend Penelope Ford – who used to date Joey Janela in real life – have been interlocked in a rivalry with Janela for a couple months now.

It finally came to a head during the last episode of Dynamite where they had their first match, which Sabian won due to some questionable circumstances. Those circumstances are questionable enough to not only open the door for a rematch at the PPV, but one without disqualifications.

I’m tempted to have Sabian win this to put a cap on this feud, but Janela has taken enough big Ls in All Elite Wrestling so far that he needs a win here.

Winner: Joey Janela

Kris Statlander vs. Sadie Gibbs

Random pairing, I know, but bare with me for a second.

More from All Elite Wrestling

On the last episode of AEW Dark, Brandi Rhodes’ Nightmare Collective came to an in-house boiling point when Mel sent Awesome Kong crashing through the barricade. In kayfabe, Kong’s in-ring future looks in jeopardy with an injury while in reality, she’s going away for a bit to film the final season of GLOW.

Of course, Kris Statlander has been feuding with The Nightmare Collective for some time now. It seems too early for Brandi to decide to take Statlander on herself and Mel isn’t imposing or credible enough to make a match between herself and Statlander interesting.

With The Nightmare Collective in need of a new powerhouse, the only powerhouse I’m aware of housed under the company is Sadie Gibbs, who is yet to make a Dynamite debut. Wouldn’t hurt to introduce her by having her join The Nightmare Collective to fend off Statlander.

Bianca Belair should be added to the Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair storyline. dark. Next

Of course, in introducing her, Gibbs will have to pick up the win.

Winner: Sadie Gibbs
