Becky Lynch (c) vs. Bianca Belair – Raw Women’s Championship

Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair seems like more or less of a lock for WrestleMania, with The Nightmare’s NXT Women’s Championship on the line. Which means that it’s already a foregone conclusion that Ripley will retain her belt against Bianca Belair at NXT TakeOver: Portland. Which, in turn, leaves Belair’s status at Mania up in the air.

It would be an absolute shame if Bianca Belair did not get some kind of big spot at WrestleMania.

Key word: “Big.” As in not the Annual Women’s Battle Royal. Which, no knock to the Battle Royal. Those are fun, but Belair, after the year that she’s had, especially after winning one-half of the most over the top eliminations in Mania history, deserves to be showcased in a substantial way.

Last Wednesday’s NXT highlighted how Belair is oozing in charisma and can steal the show at the drop of a dime, even in front of a 10-time champion like Flair. A personality like that needs to be showcased on a big stage like WrestleMania, especially when her in-ring skill is just as impressive as her gift of gab.

If I had any say in it, I’d say put her one-on-one against Becky Lynch with the Raw Women’s Championship. And call me crazy, but I think Belair looks strong enough as a challenger to justify putting the title on her.
