Seth Rollins

In 2018, Seth Rollins competed in an Elimination Chamber match that was won by Roman Reigns, who went on to main event WrestleMania 34, losing to Brock Lesnar. But the week of the Elimination Chamber was more about Rollins, who starred in a Gauntlet Match on the episode of Raw before the PPV, earning the “Monday Night Rollins” moniker. He then had a strong display in the Elimination Chamber, as many fans were rooting for him to pull off the upset.

Rollins didn’t win two years ago, but his big week set in motion a career year. And one year later, Rollins beat Lesnar twice at WrestleMania 35 and SummerSlam before turning heel, creating a stable that is now dominating the main event scene on Monday nights.

Therefore, Rollins is a shoe-in for the Elimination Chamber match this year, if it were to happen around the WWE Championship. Rollins and Lesnar have so much history together. Not only did Rollins beat him twice last year for unprecedented levels of success against The Beast, but he also memorably cashed in on Paul Heyman’s lone client at WrestleMania 31 in the so-called “heist of the century”. (Great call, Michael Cole.)

Rollins could also have exciting showdowns with the likes of Samoa Joe, Kevin Owens, and even stablemate Murphy inside the chamber this year. With his knack for trying new things, it’d be exciting to see what spots he’d have in mind for the match, too.
