WWE: 5 dream matches for Kelly Kelly’s potential return

Dana Brooke

Hear me out. I have a vision for this one.

If this were to be Kelly’s last run in the company, then I’d love to see her team up with someone as a mentor once again. Someone who could use guidance, experience, and maybe even some assistance once in a while to steal a win. Someone like Dana Brooke!

Brooke has found herself in a decent amount of TV time since being drafted to SmackDown in October. I could see her scoring a few keys wins on Friday nights before issuing an open challenge to anyone who wants a piece of her… and out walks a certain former Divas Champion. There’s no denying that Brooke and Kelly share similar in-ring styles, especially with the way they can flip over flip across the canvas. Let’s say Brooke manages to beat Kelly Kelly, but that wouldn’t be the end to their history.

Seeing as though they have much in common, they form a new team to pursue the Women’s Tag Team Championship, something that didn’t exist when Kelly Kelly was a weekly fixture. I can already see them standing across from the likes of Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross, The IIconics, Fire & Desire, or The Kabuki Warriors. Or, how about The Divas of Doom – Beth Phoenix and Natalya? Kelly has plenty of history with that duo, and I wouldn’t mind one more tag team match with the titles on the line.

Bayley

When looking at the current roster, there’s one name that sticks out as someone who could really pull off a must-see feud with Kelly Kelly. And her name is Bayley. I never would’ve imagined seeing the lovable, huggable Bayley against Kelly, but I can definitely see her ultra heel persona keeping everyone entertained.

Heel Bayley has yet to disappoint, right? She’s pushed around Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Shayna Baszler, Nikki Cross, Lacey Evans, Naomi, and now Carmella anytime they’ve stepped in her way. I can already hear Bayley’s promos on how Kelly Kelly isn’t worth enough to challenge her, and Kelly’s retorts on Bayley acting like a soccer mom named Karen. Even if a championship isn’t on the line, Bayley vs. Kelly Kelly smells like entertainment.
