WWE: 5 possible mystery partners for Roman Reigns against Miz and Morrison

Jeff Hardy has plenty of history with The Miz and John Morrison, and seeing him back in the ring with both of those two men would be nostalgia-inducing for many fans tuning in to Friday Night SmackDown this week.

There are rumblings that Hardy will be returning soon, and PW Insider recently reported that he will be at the Performance Center as he nears his return.

Whereas WWE don’t seem to value Matt Hardy, who will likely join AEW when his contract expires at the beginning of March, they still want to keep Jeff. He can have an important role in the upper mid-card on Friday nights.

It’s unlikely Hardy will be back in the ring by Friday, since it seems he’s more “on track” to return soon than imminently ready to be back in the ring. But fans have Hardy in mind as a possible partner for Reigns, partially because of the added bonus of watching him in the ring with Morrison and Miz. In 2018, The Miz and Jeff Hardy had some quality matches on SmackDown.

Don’t count on Hardy appearing on Friday, but it would be awesome to watch him and Roman Reigns get cheered like crazy by the audience. They could work perfectly together as a tandem against the heel No. 1 Contender’s for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.
