AEW: 5 potential opponents for Lance Archer in All Elite Wrestling

Before Lance Archer could have the chance to stomp through the AEW World Champion, he might have to get through his backup entourage. Not just in relation to The Inner Circle as a whole (side note: imagine how great it’d be to see Archer just clean house on everybody in the group at once in the ring), but especially when it comes to the group’s new mercenary: Jeff Cobb.

Fun fact: Lance Archer’s last match to date with NJPW (assuming he’s done with the company and not working back and forth in a dual-deal) was against Jeff Cobb at NJPW’s New Beginning in the USA Pay-Per-View. In a continuing, company branching story arc, Archer could come to AEW to get his win back against the monster.

That was actually the first and only time that Cobb and Archer faced off one on one and truth be told, they had some pretty good chemistry in a solid match. If these two can expound on that chemistry inside of an AEW ring (if not duplicate it, then surpass what they did in NJPW), then we are in line for what could be All Elite Wrestling’s next classic match-up of 2020.
