Managing a New Tag Team

Let’s wind the clocks back to about six months ago. After managing The Kabuki Warriors for months, Kairi Sane and Asuka fired their manager almost immediately after winning their Tag Team Titles. And they did so by spraying Paige in the face with mist. That was the last time we saw Paige on WWE TV (unless you’ve seen WWE Backstage on FOX, of course).

I can’t imagine the former Divas Champion setting her sights on Bayley without even thinking about how she could get back at her former clients. Even though they are on a separate brand, let us not forget that the Women’s Tag Team Championships can be defended on all of WWE’s brands against challengers from all three main brands.

Keeping this in mind, perhaps Paige is coming to SmackDown to recruit a tag team to defeat The Kabuki Warriors. Perhaps that team could be Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. Or a less obvious pairing of Naomi and Dana Brooke, or either with Lacey Evans.

What does that have to do with Bayley? Maybe Paige would like to recruit Bayley and Sasha Banks, or have her new clients challenge them to an impromptu match to stake their claim in the tag division.
