Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair – WM 35

There were so many pieces to the storyline puzzle with this one. Shortly after WrestleMania 34, a buzz on the Internet emerged around the idea that the women would finally get to close a WrestleMania.

Two names being bounced around: Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair. Alas, there was a very familiar female superstar about to explode on the WWE scene, and after the 2018 SummerSlam event, Becky Lynch’s popularity and momentum was far too big to ignore.

A feud popped up between Lynch and Rousey during Survivor Series season; however, due to a broken nose (we all thank you for this Nia Jax), their match, and heated rivalry was put on hold. Months passed and not only did the animosity between Lynch and Rousey escalate, but with The Man as the 2019 Royal Rumble winner, Becks solidified a match at WrestleMania.

Charlotte Flair was added to the mix, and with an overarching storyline that the women would not only battle it out on the Grandest Stage of Them to see who would become champ champ, but also make history by being the first females to main event the show, fans were glued to their sets during RAW and SmackDown (not to mention social media) for the promos and banter leading up to the event.

Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker – WM 25 & 26

The obsession to defeat The Undertaker at WrestleMania and abolish his streak became an obsession for Shawn Michaels that started at WM 25 and spilled over to WM 26. So much so, that despite the fact that he couldn’t pull it off the first time around, HBK put his career on the line the second time around.

After three Tombstones, Michael’s bid adieu to the WWE’s squared circle; however, not only could Michaels vs. Taker hit the list as one of the best all-time WM rivalries, both matches could also easily hit any best-of-the-best ‘Mania bouts, too.
