WWE: 10 must-see documentaries that are now free on the WWE Network
The John Cena Experience (2012, Length: 1h55m)
This entry is a bit of an anomaly as far as the superstar-specific documentaries on WWE Network, and particularly the ones on this list. This isn’t a deep dive into every aspect of John Cena’s career, and it isn’t a look at his life before WWE.
Instead, The John Cena Experience is just a collection of experiences and things John Cena did and was a part of over a few years during his time in WWE. It starts with his time overseas as part of Tribute to the Troops and his commitment to honoring soldiers, and goes in every imaginable direction from there.
This two hour documentary features behind the scenes footage of Cena guest starring on Psych, doing the coin toss at the Tostito’s Fiesta Bowl and being the Grand Marshal of the Fiesta Bowl Parade.
He’s also filming Legendary, recording a track in studio with Freddie Foxx for Legendary, doing scans for an action figure with Mattel, being on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, the day of and entrance rehearsal for WrestleMania 26, and so much more.
If you just want a relaxed, fun look at John Cena going about his crazy “day to day” experiences, that’s what you get here.
