Kylie Rae vs. Zoe Lucas

Last year, Kylie Rae made waves as one of AEW’s initial signees. She eventually exited the company last summer and returned to the indie scene.

In the midst of her newfound fame, Rae had an excellent match with Mercedes Martinez at RISE: Legendary in March of 2019. At the event, the hometown star defeated Martinez in a No Rope Submission Match to win the Phoenix of RISE Championship.

Her first title win with the company had been in the making for a long time. But before Rae could truly enjoy the moment, her longtime friend, Miranda Alize, turned on her. This sets the table for Zoe Lucas to cash in her title shot, that she earned earlier, and become the new champion.

Of course, this was supposed to be Kylie’s last match with RISE. She has since returned to the promotion, where she gained an opportunity to challenge the current champion, Big Swole.

She still hasn’t settled things with Lucas though and it would be cool to see them face off now that Rae is an indie wrestler again. It may not happen for RISE, but it’s certainly possible.

Shayna Baszler vs. Asuka

Speaking of unfinished business, Shayna Baszler vs. Asuka is definitely a feud WWE should rekindle after WrestleMania. The two most dominant NXT Women’s Champions were at each other’s throats leading up Elimination Chamber.

In the titular match, Baszler singlehandedly wiped out the rest of the field, leaving only “The Empress of Tomorrow” to contend with. Asuka lasted the longest against “The Submission Magician” but she eventually fell victim to the Kirifuda Clutch, as well.

This seemed like a definitive ending but it shouldn’t be just a one-off match-up. There is so much potential for more stories here. Also, it could be a chance to turn Asuka eventually. After all, she is too popular to be true a heel in the first place.

Yuka Sakazaki vs. Riho

Riho and Yuka Sakasaki have a little bit of history in Japan. They took part in a few matches for Tokyo Joshi Pro’s Princess Tag Team titles but they’ve never competed in a one-on-one match.

Back in June, the two showed off some great tandem offense in a triple threat match with Nyla Rose at AEW Fyter Fest. Riho ultimately outwitted Rose to win her first singles match with the company.

Afterward, Sakazaki helped her fend off “The Native Beast,” but Riho surprisingly shoved Yuka when she tried to help her to her feet. The incident was never addressed again and they teamed up again earlier this month in a losing effort to Britt Baker and Penelope Ford.

Nevertheless, a competitive match between Riho and Yuka Sakazaki could be fun. Hopefully, AEW decides to revisits this idea some time down the line.

Becky Lynch vs. Toni Storm

This has to happen. If you’re familiar with Toni Storm and Becky Lynch, there isn’t much that needs to be said to convince you this first-time match should happen soon.

Of all the women from NXT UK, Storm needs a change scenery the most. Now that she can’t challenge Kay Lee Ray for the brand’s women’s title again, it’s the perfect opportunity to bring her stateside for good.

In January, Toni revealed that her dream opponent on the main roster has always been Becky Lynch during an interview with Inside the Ropes. This wasn’t the first time she mentioned “The Man” either.

It would seem that the feeling is mutual. Lynch also said her dream match would be with the former NXT UK Women’s Champion last summer on the red carpet for the ESPN Sports Humanitarian Awards. So, what are you waiting for WWE? Book it.
