Sadie Gibbs vs. Kris Statlander

Sadie Gibbs was quietly one of the best signees to AEW’s new women’s division last year. Oddly, we haven’t seen much of “Amazing Grace” on television.

They aired a vignette featuring Gibbs on The Buy-In before Double or Nothing. Then, she made her official debut in the Casino Battle Royale at All Out. Since she has appeared on two episodes of Dark. Recently, Cody Rhodes confirmed that Gibbs is training at his wrestling school, The Nightmare Factory.

That makes sense as Sadie has only been wrestling for about three years. However, what she lacks in experience she makes up for in sheer athleticism. A match with “The Galaxy’s Greatest Alien,” Kris Statlander, could give her a chance to show off her crowd-pleasing offense.

Moreover, they both work similar styles. So, it could be a treat to see how they match up against one another.

Giulia vs. Riho

Last year, Giulia and Riho both left Ice Ribbon to sign with STARDOM and they’ve both enjoyed success on their own respective trajectories.

Riho splits her time between the Joshi promotion and AEW. At one point, she was a duel champion, holding both the AEW Women’s World and High Speed Championship.

Meanwhile, Giulia has been given a sustained push with STARDOM this year as their breakout star. In January, she took part in the first women’s match on a New Japan card at Wrestle Kingdom 14.

Then, she put together her own unit, Donna del Mondo, and captured the Artist of Stardom Championship. Finally, Giulia won the 2020 Cinderella Tournament and challenged Arisa Hoshiki for the Wonder of Stardom Championship last week.

In this time, Giulia and Riho haven’t faced each other outside of a six-woman tag match last month. It seems like only a matter of time before they go one-on-one, especially now that Riho is no longer AEW Women’s World Champion.
