3.) Cesaro

Cesaro will defeat Daniel Bryan on this week’s SmackDown to qualify for this year’s Men’s MITB Ladder Match. He should continue his momentum from defeating Drew Gulak at WrestleMania 36 by defeating Gulak’s student, Daniel Bryan. If he can defeat the teacher, he can defeat the student.

Cesaro’s chances at winning MITB are very slim, but he definitely needs this opportunity more than Daniel Bryan. With Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zayn both becoming Intercontinental Champion, Cesaro can be easily perceived as the weak link of the Artist Collective and thereby needs this win to get himself a championship opportunity too.

Although Bryan has been losing a lot of big matches lately, he still has an alternative to chase after the SmackDown Tag Team Championships with Drew Gulak. Henceforth, there is no harm in having Cesaro qualify here, even if the victory is nefarious with Nakamura and Zayn at ringside.

2.) Sheamus

Bar reunion, anyone? Like Aleister Black, Sheamus has been on a dominant roll lately and he should continue that momentum by qualifying for this year’s Men’s MITB Ladder Match. This will give him an opportunity to interact with his former comrade, Cesaro, as well.

Since Sheamus has won the MITB Briefcase in the past, it would be best if he does not win it again this year. Nonetheless, his experience in ladder matches will come in handy and his unstoppable dominance will make him a favorite to win this year’s MITB Ladder Match.
