Jon Moxley (c) vs. Lance Archer – AEW Championship

Coming off the heels of his successful title defense against Jake Hager a few weeks back, we have not seen too much of the AEW World Champion on AEW TV. Meanwhile, we have seen Lance Archer go through an absolute tear of the competition on Dynamite in quest for his own championship.

With the TNT Championship tournament upon us, I predict for Cody to beat Archer in the finals (more on that later), which will only fuel Archer’s deranged madness even further, which may appear all the more deranged while guided by Jake “The Snake” Roberts (even if it’s via satellite).

Eventually, Jon Moxley is going to have to make his return to the tv show where he hails from as its World Champion and when he does, not only would Archer have continued to ease his way up the men’s rankings (he currently sits at number three, as of this writing) with a few more wins after losing to Cody, but he may leave Moxley in a broken pile of his own blood just to make his case for a title shot even stronger.

And of course, with Moxley being Moxley and the rankings backing up his case, Mox accepts.
