WWE MITB 2020: Ranking Every Woman’s Chances of Winning
By Mark Justice
6.) Dana Brooke
Dana Brooke has the lowest chances of winning this year’s MITB. Although she is a gem inside and outside the ring, her momentum has unfortunately been too lackluster to warrant a shot at singles gold, especially after losing to SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley twice on SmackDown as well as more recently losing to the Women’s Tag Team Champions Bliss Cross Applesauce alongside Carmella on last week’s SmackDown.
The fact that she qualified against Naomi for the Women’s MITB Ladder Match was most likely a consolation prize for being excluded from the SmackDown Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 36. Nonetheless, she now has a point to prove after being scrapped.
According to her, she’s going to Home Depot to buy a ladder that she can practice climbing in her backyard in order to build up her cardio endurance for the Women’s MITB Ladder Match. Despite Brooke’s low chances of winning, her enthusiasm and passion for professional wrestling is admirable and there’s no doubt that she will be well-prepared for a strong, athletic performance in the Women’s MITB Ladder Match.
5.) Carmella
Carmella defeated Mandy Rose to qualify for the Women’s MITB Ladder Match simply because Rose had to continue her storyline with Sonya Deville instead. This is a convenient sign that Carmella is not the primary focus for this year’s Women’s MITB Ladder Match.
Carmella has already won the MITB Briefcase ‘twice’ and it is unlikely that she will win it again this year. Her momentum is synonymous with Dana Brooke at the moment, especially since she is in a tag team with her and they both missed out on WrestleMania 36.
Nonetheless, she has the experience advantage over the rest of the women in the Women’s MITB Ladder Match and thereby has a slight edge over Dana Brooke to shockingly win the MITB contract for the third time. Although momentum is not on her side and she has extremely low chances of winning, Carmella is money and there is enough ‘Baymella’ history for three times to be the charm for the Princess of Staten Island.
