WWE Money in the Bank 2020: 3 Superstars Who Need To Win
By Mark Justice
1.) Bray Wyatt
Bray Wyatt is the shepherd and Braun Strowman is the black sheep. These two members of the Wyatt Family are clashing for the first time ever at WWE MITB 2020. Their history is unparalleled and should make for a perceptive storyline in the main event scene of Friday Night SmackDown.
As my colleague, Bruce Lee Hazelwood, expressed in his article about why Braun Strowman should defeat Bray Wyatt, Bray Wyatt won’t be The Fiend in this match so it’s entirely safe to assume that Strowman will retain the championship here to elicit a post-match attack by The Fiend and a championship rematch at the next PPV. Furthermore, it could even lead to a long-term program for WWE SummerSlam 2020 in August.
However, it’s unfortunate to foresee Wyatt losing a championship match after earning a career-making victory over John Cena at WrestleMania 36. He honestly should win and get his championship back because it should not have left his grasp in the first place. He is the undisputed face of Friday Night SmackDown right now, not Braun Strowman.
The undisputed face of Friday Night SmackDown needs to be the Universal Champion. He should convert to the Fiend on this week’s go-home show of Friday Night SmackDown and attack Strowman so that his chances of winning back the Universal Championship are higher. All the WWE Universe has to do is ‘let him in.’
