Aleister Black could do something awesome

Aleister Black and Rey Mysterio were both thrown off the roof at WWE Money in the Bank 2020 by ultra-heel King Corbin, who promised to kill someone on the SmackDown go-home show before MITB. And did he deliver…

Of course, if AJ Styles can resurrect himself, it should be easy for Black to survive a fall off the building. After all, everything about his gimmick screams, “Capable of doing the unthinkable.”

Styles’ return from death was underwhelming for some, but then they realized that it was par for the course for Styles to come back from being buried alive like nothing happened.

Meanwhile, WWE has an opportunity to do something awesome with Black, especially considering the nature of his mysterious gimmick. Aleister has been compared to The Undertaker in terms of being a special character by fans since joining NXT, and the fall at Money in the Bank is an opportunity for WWE to explore something new with the former NXT Champion when he returns.

Paul Heyman and others are high on Aleister, whose potential in WWE is sky-high. He is a future world champion, and the right push after Money in the Bank could seal his fate as a valuable member of Raw.
