WWE NXT Predictions (5/13/2020): Here’s who Adam Cole will face next

2.) Who is Next for NXT Champion Adam Cole?
On last week’s NXT, Adam Cole retained the NXT Championship against Velveteen Dream. During that NXT Championship match, Dexter Lumis helped Dream by fending off Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish, who were attempting to distract Dream at ringside.
This is not the first time Lumis has helped Dream fend off the Undisputed Era. In fact, his creepy looks at Undisputed Era shows his intentions quite vividly. He wants the NXT Championship from Adam Cole, and he should be expected as the next challenger for Cole.

1.) Who is Next for NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair?
On last week’s NXT, Charlotte Flair retained the NXT Women’s Championship against Io Shirai via champion’s advantage by striking her with a kendo stick and forcing a disqualification finish to the match. After the match, Charlotte continued her attack on Shirai by locking in the Figure-8-Leglock on the steel post.
This elicited the return of Rhea Ripley to save Shirai from further pain and chase Charlotte out of the ring area. For some peculiar reason, Shirai was angry at Ripley for saving her. Maybe Shirai wanted to handle her business with Flair on her own or probably thought that Ripley struck her with the kendo stick, instead of Charlotte.

Either way, this beef is shaping up into a triple threat feud for the NXT Women’s Championship amongst Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley, and Io Shirai. This could be a gateway for Io Shirai to win her first NXT Women’s Championship or for Ripley to win the NXT Women’s Championship back. The latter is more likely because it seems that Ripley is willing to set the record straight from her devastating WrestleMania 36 loss to Charlotte.
