We’ll see how Brodie Lee deals with losing

Brodie Lee didn’t earn an opportunity to compete for the AEW World Championship. No, the Dark Order’s Exalted One beat down Jon Moxley and demanded a title shot, when, as Moxley said, he could have just asked. And then, Lee, in an act of hilarious insecurity, stole the championship and started getting ring announcer Dasha Gonzalez to declare him the champion.

There is no limit to how far Lee will go to receive validation, whether it’s from his brainwashed cult followers or from intimidated AEW personnel. But while he didn’t earn his title opportunity, he is indeed a force to be reckoned with. Lee was kicking out early from plenty of big moves hit by Christopher Daniels in their match, and he remains undefeated. So even though he didn’t earn the title shot, he isn’t out-of-place in a big match like this.

But look at the way Lee didn’t want anything to do with the rightfully enraged Jon Moxley after Lee’s win over Daniels. This man thinks he’s entitled to the championship and sees himself as above Moxley. He is in for a shock at Double or Nothing when Moxley shows he’s the better man, and it will be exciting to see how Lee handles the loss. I’m sure his Dark Order members won’t feel the same way.
