A Death Defying One Winged Angel

I would be remiss if I did not pay some special attention to the closing moment of the match. After all, Sammy Guevara did not get deleted for nothing. Might as well pay extra attention to it so his sacrifice for our sins was worth just a little bit of something, right?

The final minutes of the match first came between Sammy Guevara and Matt Hardy in the stands of the crowd area. As Guevara was moments away from finishing the Hardy boy off, a save in the form of a revived Vanguard 1 around. Or, rather, an upgraded version: Neo 1 (as in Natural Electronic Organism, as Excalibur was so kind to clarify to us on commentary).

The slight distraction was enough for Kenny Omega to make an even bigger save by launching Sammy Guevara off his shoulders and leaping through the air with a One Winged Angel out of the stands and onto a wooden platform to the ground.

There was not even a question that the match was over from there. Aubrey Edwards counted the one … two … three … and just like that, the Inner Circle vs. Elite feud had finally come to an end. At least, we assume so. Because, really, where could they possibly go after this?
