Experience Is An Asset, Not A Roadblock

Alexa Bliss was once a fitness model and participated in various fitness competitions before she signed with the WWE. The Goddess of the WWE didn’t make it big in a jiffy because she had to work her way up. We cannot deny the fact that she has broken barriers before making it to the top.

She signed a developmental deal in May of 2013 and worked in NXT for the next three years to hone her skills and improve her craft. The effort in NXT put forth by the former cheerleader at Hilliard Davidson High School helped her move to SmackDown in the summer of 2016.

Bliss didn’t make it big on the first day at the job on the main roster, but instead, she worked through the ranks between July and December. Eventually, her time came when she defeated the then SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at Tables, Ladders, and Chairs PPV to commence her golden journey.

The four-year main roster journey has been through some crests and troughs, but the fighter in Alexa Bliss has taken every challenge head-on and pinned it on the mat as she does to her opponents. Alexa has given a whole new meaning to the old saying, ‘It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog.”
