Men’s Division

Chris Jericho – “Judas”

Seems like an obvious choice, right? It’s tough to argue against the massive metal hit that has shaken the wrestling world. With Jericho signing with AEW, this song became synonymous with a change within himself and change within the wrestling landscape. Remember that night of Dynamite where they were on the cruise? Everyone was singing his song in unison. That has become the standard for everyone Dynamite show moving forward.

Jericho’s vocals give an added dimension of pain and realization that fits the instrumental progression like a perfectly-crafted jigsaw puzzle. It is a solid rock song on its own and now has become the top wrestling theme song currently. There isn’t really much to stay about it, just give it a listen.

Have you betrayed everyone you’ve ever loved? Yes

Have you pushed them all away? Yes.

Is there something left to save in the wreckage of your life? No.

Chances of you becoming Judas in your mind? Inevitably.

Likelihood of listening to it outside of a wrestling show? Of course.

Women’s Division

Big Swole – “Swole World”

This song is catchy and hits every beat hard. I love the recent shift of wrestling theme songs being more hip hop heavy, instead of the typical rock songs you would hear. Big Swole’s song works on many levels: a hot trap beat, good lyrics, and consistent flow that rides the song perfectly. Its style gives off an in-your-face vibe, which matches Swole’s confidence to a T. The vocal composition is put together with precision, from the main bars to the adlibs and everything in between.

Just like Downstait has made their impact in the wrestling theme song world, Monteasy has done the same on the hip hop side of themes. He has made a variety of themes in AEW and WWE, and teaming up with Big Swole on this song has made a great collaboration.

Does it hit hard? Yeah!

Does it pump you up? Yeeaaaah!

Chances of getting swole? Put in that work.

Likelihood of listening to it outside of a wrestling show? YEAAH!!

Jungle Express – “Jungle Express Theme Song”

Talk about a song that makes you feel like you can do anything. With its little ode to Jurassic Park in the beginning, the song sounds like a movie score as it brings a triumphant component to the song that perfectly compliments the trio. Each member has a different thing they bring to the table, which makes this theme song so impressive. It is able to balance the lifting element of the underdogs Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt, while giving Luchasaurus the thunderous entrance that warns competitors the Hero is coming.

Do you feel like you can do anything? Yes!

Chances of wanting your own dinosaur? 1000% certainty.

Likelihood of listening to it outside of a wrestling show? I’m already running around to this song.
