WWE NXT/NXT UK: Top 5 Theme Songs for Men, Women, and Tag Teams
By Bassam Kaado
Here are the top five NXT/NXT UK theme songs for each division
Picture this: You, surrounded by thousands of die-hard wrestling fans, eagerly anticipating the first match to start. The lights change, the announcers are ready, the NXT chants are going, and then, the music hits.
How many times has a big match or a heel turn finally came to us, the universe, with an entrance theme that sets the tone.
With NXT developing from a competition to a development brand and now a WWE main stay, a flood of wrestlers have made their way from Florida to WWE TV (and now back to Florida). This has gifted the WWE universe with a plethora of theme songs that have united crowds and also divided them.
The expansion of NXT UK opened up the WWE pipeline to bring in some extremely talented UK wrestlers, and, with them, some entertaining team songs
This is amplified with both NXT brands, where the crowds are more engaged and vocal. The songs will cue the chants, the boos, the cheers, or the singing.
In this series, since the line between NXT and NXT UK is being blurred, I take a look at all the NXT and NXT UK theme songs and do my personal ranking of which theme songs do their jobs effectively and aid their wrestler in achieving their goal to perform.
I have a top 5 ranking for the Men’s division, the Women’s division, and the Tag Team division.
