Adam Cole (c) vs. Keith Lee (c) – Winner Take All

After successfully defending his North American Championship earlier this week vs. Finn Balor and Johnny Gargano, Keith Lee will do so once more in less than two weeks time against Adam Cole, but this time, he has the opportunity to become a double champion. And frankly, he should.

It’s classic WWE booking here. The champion with the lower tier title is instantly elevated once he beats the champion with the higher tier, especially win the higher champion has the longest reign in the belt’s history. Lee has more to win here and, at the same time, much more to lose from a loss.

The only con here would be that gifting Lee the title means he’ll be immediately fed to Karrion Kross – who has already been teased as someone next in line for a title shot – in a fight that Lee’s not liking to win, making him a transitional champion.

Next. WWE: Ric Flair is right about Charlotte Flair but is wrong about the issue. dark

But, in theory, it’d be better to see Lee prove himself as a main eventer by winning the NXT Championship – even if he doesn’t hold it long – than for him to fail and lose whilst stalling his own momentum.
