Fight for the Fallen will take place on the July 15th episode of Dynamite. Fans can get involved in COVID-19 relief.
AEW wants fans to help them support Northeast Florida’s response to COVID-19 via two charity-driven initiatives.
Last year, the promotion asked fans to help raise funds for the Victims Assistance Advisory Council leading up to the first Fight For the Fallen. This year, they’re asking fans to raise money for Florida’s First Coast Relief Fund and Feeding Northeast Florida. Both organizations are 501 (c)(3) not for profits.
Fans can help two ways. They can purchase a limited edition Fight for the Fallen shirt from www.ShopAEW.com. The shirt is $24.99 and 100% of the proceeds will go to both Florida based organizations. Fans can also donate what they can to www.AEWFightForTheFallen.com.
In March, the Khan family donated $1 million to various organizations to support the COVID-19 response in northeast Florida.
"“The efforts of the First Coast Relief Fund and Feeding Northeast Florida over the past four months have been truly amazing, but unfortunately the battle against this pandemic continues and that means their work is far from over,” said Tony Khan, President and CEO of All Elite Wrestling. “On behalf of everyone at AEW, and our fans, I thank both groups for their commitment to our home community of Jacksonville and North Florida and hope we can all come together to do what we can to support their mission.”"
This is a great way for both AEW and their fans to give back, especially to two important organizations. So many people around the world have been affected by COVID-19 and this is a good way to feel like they can do something to help. It’s also good to see that AEW will keep using Fight for the Fallen to raise funds for important causes.
