WWE SummerSlam 2020 won’t take place in neary two months, but the card is already beginning to come into view.

In about a week from now, WWE will broadcast the Horror Show at Extreme Rules, which will feature at least one cinematic match between Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt, as well as a highly-anticipated Raw Women’s Title match between Sasha Banks and Asuka. And while Sasha’s future at WWE SummerSlam 2020 is up in the air, Strowman and Wyatt appear to be poised for a third PPV match at the Biggest Party of the Summer.

At least, that’s according to the Wrestling Observer News’ Dave Meltzer, via WrestlingInc.com’s Marc Middleton. Meltzer writes that Wyatt vs. Strowman is one of the five matches that are expected to happen at SummerSlam this year, which is no surprise since all signs point to them having a title match after this non-title cinematic match in which The Fiend likely shows up.

The other matches? Let’s run them down below.

More from Daily DDT

Andrade and Angel Garza vs. The Street Profits

A Raw Tag Team Championships match, this definitely makes the most sense and falls in line with Mark Justice’s card predictions. Angel Garza and Andrade have suffered some tension, but it looks like Randy Orton has them back together again. I highly doubt they win the titles, but this would be a great match.

The New Day vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro

They will have a SmackDown Tag Team Title match on the July 10 episode of Friday Night SmackDown and will likely have another match at SummerSlam. Maybe The New Day lose the belts but then win them back at the big show.

Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre

Basically, everyone reporting about wrestling says this is the most likely match at SummerSlam, and it would be a tremendous rivalry.

Matt Riddle vs. Baron Corbin

Apparently this would be a No. 1 Contender’s match for the Intercontinental Championship, which basically tells you that Riddle is winning this match. But like, we already knew that anyway. Riddle shouldn’t be pushed right now, but WWE clearly doesn’t care about Riddle possibly being an abuser potentially having sexually assaulted someone.

As for the women’s matches, he didn’t talk about any that are expected to happen yet, probably because WWE could still go in a number of directions with the Raw Women’s Title and the Women’s Tag Titles, depending on how they book the Sasha Banks vs. Bayley feud.
