Jeff Hardy vs. The Miz

Result: Jeff Hardy wins with a roll up

Grade: F, Everything in this feud is an F. Miz and Hardy wrestled well, but Sheamus’ interruption was embarrassing. We wasted 33 minutes of our lives on this program.

So it was decided, The Miz would be the one to get it handed to him by Jeff Hardy. The Charismatic Engima was showing his superior technical skills to Miz, who could only briefly use his power to gain some sort of advantage. So instead, he grabbed the hair and later used the apron to his benefit while John Morrison clapped enthusiastically at ringside.

Miz made the mistake of following up some hard left-handed fists to the face with a top rope move, but Hardy was able to hit the Twist of Fury. Morrison astutely pulled his tag team partner out of the ring at a critical moment when Hardy was setting up for the Swanton Bomb. But Hardy was able to get a big move off anyway, diving onto both heels on the outside before the break.

The fight went over to the announce table, with Miz bouncing the Charismatic Enigma off the table and then off the plexiglass. And damn, when wrestlers hit the plexiglass, they really hit the plexiglass! Next up? The ring apron and a running knee. Hardy was in a world of hurt.

Back in the ring, Miz started hitting some trademark moves, much to Morrison’s delight at ringside. Miz did the “It” kicks with a twist, as he did them to the tune of their “Hey hey!” song.

Hardy started to come back after absorbing the punishment, buying himself some time with a Jawbreaker. He won the slugfest with ease and hit HIS signature moves.

And then….Sheamus interrupted the match drinking a beer from the titantron with the intent of costing Jeff. But Jeff rolled up Miz and won! Sheamus then gave him a toast. Disgusting.
