WWE Raw Predictions: Seth Rollins Will Sacrifice Someone Else For The Greater Good

1.) Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens [Grudge Match]

Last week on WWE Raw, Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy ambushed Aleister Black in the backstage area. This ambush prevented Black from teaming with Rey Mysterio in what was a scheduled match against Rollins and Murphy. However, Black got his revenge for that attack by costing Rollins and Murphy their match against Mysterio and Black’s replacement, Kevin Owens. This victory allowed Mysterio to select the gross ‘eye for an eye’ stipulation. 

This week on WWE Raw, Seth Rollins is scheduled for a match against Kevin Owens merely to give Rollins some positive momentum heading into his ‘eye for an eye’ match against Rey Mysterio at WWE Extreme Rules 2020. Rollins should defeat Kevin Owens and take Owen’s eye out of its socket to foreshadow what’s to come for Mysterio at the PPV. As Rollins had already proclaimed in his past sermons, it would be a sacrifice for the greater good.

Since Mysterio already has Humberto Carillo and Dominick on his side, maybe Rollins will use this sacrifice as a method of converting Kevin Owens into joining his discipleship. With Austin Theory currently out of the picture, this will even out the playing field and give Owens a more meaningful role on Raw as a newborn heel than what he has been given to do thus far. Maybe that’s what a sacrifice for the greater good really means for the ‘Monday Night Messiah.’
