Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Randy Orton [WWE Championship]

On last night’s WWE Extreme Rules 2020, Drew McIntyre defeated Dolph Ziggler in a one-sided Extreme Rules Match to retain the WWE Championship. There is a plenitude of suboptimal alternatives pertaining to the contender-ship for McIntyre’s WWE Championship, but Randy Orton should be the next number one contender since he is the top heel on Raw.

His inevitable victory over Big Show should set him up for his rumored title match against the top babyface on Raw, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, at WWE SummerSlam 2020. Both superstars are credited for their minacious mannerisms, so this rivalry will be a testament to their madness in every sense of the word. McIntyre should go over since he is the future of this company.

Prediction: Drew McIntyre

Braun Strowman (c) vs. ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt [Universal Championship]

On last night’s WWE Extreme Rules 2020, Bray Wyatt ‘defeated’ Universal Champion Braun Strowman in the Wyatt Swamp Fight, thereby earning a championship opportunity for WWE SummerSlam 2020. While Strowman was always a plan B to win the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36 against Goldberg, Bray Wyatt should have never lost the Universal Championship to Goldberg at WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia.

Since The Fiend has arisen from the swamp, Wyatt should be capable of winning the championship back. However, a risible swerve would come into play if Otis cashed in his MITB contract to win the Universal Championship. This would throw the entire division into total disarray. With Otis as Universal Champion, entropy would reign supreme and that would spice things up in the very jejune Universal Championship picture on the blue brand.

Prediction: Otis
