Rosemary

Another intergender option, and perhaps the most unique inclusion on this list, would be “The Demon Assassin” Rosemary. We’ve seen over the years that as quality as Heath can be in the ring, it’s in segments and on the microphone that he truly shines.

What better way to let that shine than with the most unique part of Impact Wrestling, The Undead Realm? Watching Heath go to war with Rosemary, likely bringing Rhino by his side, only to get plunged into the ethereal mysticism of The Undead Realm would be truly must-see.

These two could have a fascinating match either inside the squared circle or in The Undead Realm, but it’s all of the weeks setting this story up that I’m most excited for. Just imagine Heath facing his fears in The Undead Realm because he needs this job. He’s got kids.

Eddie Edwards

At Slammiversary, we saw the crowning of new Impact World Champion Eddie Edwards. It’s not the first time Edwards has captured the title, but it’s been almost four years since his first reign as champion. Character-wise, this is a very different Eddie Edwards.

This is a far more unpredictable Eddie Edwards, which a penchant for violence and chaos. He also may have Gallows and Anderson by his side moving forward, which makes him a force to be reckoned with.

However, at the core of it all, Eddie Edwards is one of the best in-ring competitors Impact Wrestling has ever seen. He’s a former GHC Heavyweight Champion in Pro Wrestling NOAH, and the only gaijin to have ever won that title.

In his post-release video on social media, Heath talked about showing what he’s capable of inside the squared circle. There may be no better way to do that than up against a ring general like Edwards, gunning for a championship of the caliber WWE never would’ve let him get close to winning.
