Randy Orton: Ranking the Viper’s top 5 rivalries in WWE

Mick Foley
Who comes to your mind when you think of the word, hardcore wrestling, and it’s not Hardcore Holly? Mick Foley is the biggest risktaker and a master of hardcore wrestling. A lot of us may be of the idea that ECW is the one that gave us hardcore wrestling, and while that is true, let’s also understand that we are talking about WWE (then WWF). ECW was eventually bought-in by Vince McMahon, and all the superstars from Extreme Championship Wrestling became a part of the company’s roster.
Mick Foley came crashing down during the Hell In A Cell match at the King of The Ring event in 1998 and in the words of Good Ol’ JR ‘Mick Foley may be broken in half.’ The match is still the biggest reason why a lot of people gravitated towards wrestling, and so was Randy Orton.
The two had matches in the build-up to their match at Backlash 2004, and whether you like it or not, no match can come close to the action performed by these two superstars inside the arena.
If you think blood was one factor, look at the barbed wire, and other external objects that the two used on each other, and you would understand why this is one of the most hellacious matches in the history of professional wrestling.
