United States Championship Fatal 4-Way Match: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio vs. Keith Lee vs. Cedric Alexander

As mentioned above, Dominik Mysterio failed to defeat Seth Rollins this past week on WWE Raw. While finding his way into a WWE Championship Match might be premature for someone of Dominik’s tenure, a shot at the United States Championship seems much more realistic.

On top of that, he’s not the only viable contender. The Hurt Business seems to have put an end to their rivalry with Apollo Crews, but Cedric Alexander’s issues with MVP and company continued this week and they’re continuing to try and get him to join their faction.

Meanwhile, Keith Lee picked up a big win over Randy Orton at WWE Payback, but couldn’t follow up with a win on WWE Raw to earn a shot at the WWE Championship. Putting everyone in this match allows three important talents to get a big moment on pay-per-view, and the chaos could see any one of them walk out as champion without hurting the others.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax (c) vs. The Riott Squad

Four weeks ago, this would’ve been a pretty farfetched matchup to suggest, but now all the pieces have settled into place. Things got tough for then WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Golden Role Models starting at WWE SummerSlam 2020, as Sasha Banks lost her Raw Women’s Championship that night.

One week later, Banks and Bayley came up short against Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax to lose their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. The unlikely pairing of Baszler and Jax, boosted at WWE Payback by “The Submission Magician” showing her prowess and tapping out Bayley while using Banks’ own body, are now a formidable team.

This week on WWE Raw, we found out they will definitely be defending in the future against the recently reunited Riott Squad, as Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott picked up a big win over The IIconics to disband that team of former champions and earn themselves a future title shot. The date of the match isn’t confirmed, but Clash of Champions seems perfect.
