Sami Zayn regained the Intercontinental Championship, at WWE Clash of Champions, but who will challenge the Great Liberator first?

Sami Zayn climbed the ladder and grabbed both Intercontinental titles at the conclusion of a thrilling match at WWE Clash of Champions to become the undisputed champion. After weeks of claiming he was the “real” champion and that former Jeff Hardy was a “scam”, Sami Zayn backed up his words and proved his doubters wrong. The Canadian never lost his title, in the first place, and should get a long run with the belt.

With the pay-per-view in his rear-view mirror, Zayn will be looking forward to defending his title against some new and old rivals. The WWE Draft begins on October 9th, so there could be a few surprises on the horizon as well – let’s take a look at three possible challengers for the new Intercontinental Champion.
