Roman Reigns forces Jey Uso to go back to NXT if he can’t win at WWE Hell in a Cell 2020

The NXT Tag Team Division needs some help. There’s definitely talent in the division, and Breezango have added some veteran presence with main roster experience when they moved back to the Black and Gold brand. But NXT’s tag division needs actual star power.

So maybe we move in that direction post-draft with Jey Uso having to move to NXT, being banished from Raw and SmackDown if Roman Reigns vanquishes him at Hell in a Cell. And since Roman’s victory seems to be an inevitability, the Usos would have to make their way to the Black and Gold brand to face an entirely new crop of talent.

An argument against the Usos moving to NXT is that there is already a dearth of tag teams on Raw and SmackDown. Firstly, the Usos haven’t been competing in tag matches due to Jimmy’s injury, and SmackDown’s tag division still has better storylines than NXT’s. Secondly, if the tag titles are unified by the Usos in NXT, then all of a sudden tag team wrestling becomes a hub for NXT on Wednesday nights, too.

Fans were wondering if Naomi, who has expressed interest in joining NXT in the past, and the Usos could go to NXT in the Fall/winter of 2019. Maybe it could happen in the Fall/winter of 2020.
