The WWE Draft is in the books, so here are three wrestlers who should be in line for a push after joining a new brand.

Although the WWE Draft wasn’t as exciting as it should have been this year, there were still some major stories to come out of the draft, such as Daniel Bryan’s return, or Sami Zayn getting snubbed as a fourth-round pick despite being the Intercontinental Champion.

But the best storylines are the ones yet to be written, of course. Here are three WWE superstars who should get a big push after joining a new brand in this year’s draft.

Bianca Belair

We have to start with Bianca Belair. She may have been the best pick of the draft, taken eighth overall on Night 1 by SmackDown. Belair has been a member of the Raw roster for months and has impressed every single time she’s on the screen, yet WWE never gave her that push on Monday nights.

They have hinted at it, though, by playing awesome vignettes for her, showing the world why Belair is the smartEST, strongEST, fastEST, and the bEST. At everything.

The executives at FOX likely feel the same way, and they should put pressure on WWE to make Belair one of the big stars on the Blue Brand. She could easily win the SmackDown Women’s Championship in 2021 after Sasha Banks and Bayley finish up their feud. Belair is going to be one of the pillars of Friday nights over the next year.

Aleister Black

Aleister Black was the second-to-last pick on Night 2 of the WWE Draft, which was pretty disheartening to see. That means only 24/7 Division competitor (yes, I made that up) Akira Tozawa was picked later than Black in this year’s draft.

But there have been so many people who have proved the world wrong after being drafted much later than they should have been. Tom Brady is the most famous example.

A former NXT Champion, Aleister Black has yet to taste main roster gold despite being undefeated on Raw at this point. Earmarked by many people as a future world champion and even discussed as a possible Undertaker-like figure in WWE, Black is capable of so much more in WWE.

The company may feel the same way despite his draft slot, given his upcoming character change and his recent heel turn on Kevin Owens.

Naomi

Naomi should be winning the Raw Women’s Championship for the first time in her career within the next year. After all, the future Hall of Famer has already earned herself a title opportunity by pinning the most dominant champion in WWE, SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley.

But because of the Bayley vs. Sasha Banks feud, Naomi couldn’t truly cash-in on her earned title opportunity. So it’s best for her to be on Raw and to hope WWE makes use of the three hours available to give Naomi time in the ring and on the mic to show the world what makes her so great.

Then again, the world already knows. At least, those of us who know what the hell to look for. And there are, to be fair, many of us. Hence why Naomi’s Royal Rumble return went VIRAL.

If WWE knows what’s good for business, they’ll push Naomi. WWE fans have been waiting and waiting for her to get the television time that suits a wrestler of her caliber.
