WWE fans are wondering when two of the biggest stars in wrestling could make their returns for a dream one-on-one match at WrestleMania.

Becky Lynch was the biggest star in WWE before taking time off to be a mother. Her Raw Women’s Championship reign is one of the greatest women’s title reigns of all time, and her rise to becoming the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion in the first-ever women’s main event at WrestleMania was easily one of the all-time great babyface runs.

WWE fans will patiently wait for Becky’s return, excited to cheer her on at home or even in the stands whenever she appears again.

But fans are also speculating about one of her WrestleMania 35 opponents, Ronda Rousey. Paul Heyman recently dropped a hint about Rousey signing a contract extension, as there has been a lot of speculation about her contract situation with WWE.

According to WrestlingNews.Co’s Paul Davis, WWE is “on track” for a WrestleMania 37 match between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey, which could main event the show in Tampa Bay. A source told WrestlingNews.Co that Vince McMahon hopes Becky can make her return early in 2021 so that WWE can build towards this big match. The source also added that Vince wants this match to happen in front of a live crowd.

The site also references a report from Dave Meltzer in his Wrestling Observer Newsletter, stating that Rousey is expected to make her return “in a few months”.

There’s no doubt that Rousey vs. Lynch is capable of main eventing WrestleMania. The Rock vs. Roman Reigns is another WrestleMania 37 dream match, but that seems less likely to happen.

With the way things unfolded in the match at WrestleMania 35, there is definitely room for another WrestleMania match between Becky and Ronda. They have some unfinished business. And yes, Becky should be the one to go over.
