WWE Hell in a Cell 2020: Sasha Banks is favored to win
Sasha Banks and Bayley will have a SmackDown Women’s Title match for the ages at WWE Hell in a Cell 2020.
The match card for WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 still hasn’t fully taken shape, but we know that we’ll get three massive world title matches in Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso, Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton, and Sasha Banks vs. Bayley.
Sasha has challenged Bayley to a Hell in a Cell match on Oct. 25, and while Bayley hasn’t officially agreed to it yet, it’s going to happen.
Via WrestlingNews.Co’s Andrew Ravens, Sasha Banks is the favorite to defeat Bayley in the title match at WWE Hell in a Cell, joining Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns as wrestlers favored to win their world title matches. So out of those three matches, she is the only challenger who is expected to take the title. She is listed as having a better chance at winning than McIntyre, as Reigns is obviously a very heavy favorite in his match.
Sasha Banks vs. Bayley at WWE Hell in a Cell is unpredictable
The match feels like it could go either way, which adds even more of a “big-fight feel” to the bout. Although Roman and Jey could main event again, it feels like the majority of fans would like to see Sasha and Bayley have yet another main event classic.
Sasha, of course, has experience in Hell in a Cell matches, which likely helps boost her stock heading into this match. Her match inside the cell with Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship was the best match of the year in WWE for 2019, more than stealing the show from the disappointing main event between Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt.
With huge fan support, Sasha could absolutely take the title off Bayley next Sunday inside the cell. Both women are still on SmackDown after the draft, so the theory of WWE holding off on a title change until after Sasha wins the Royal Rumble doesn’t seem to be the case. Though, we could find a way to get a WrestleMania 37 rematch through another avenue, right?
