The last few months in professional wrestling have been some of the most exciting in professional wrestling in over a decade. The forbidden door opened, and the AEW, Impact, and NJPW partnership began. Many fans wondered if WWE would be forced to open their door to working with another company in the future.

Rumors are swirling that there’s a chance WWE could find itself working with MLW in their own form of partnership. WWE should consider working with Major League wrestling because it would allow the world to see that WWE is open to helping smaller companies as they did with ECW in the ’90s.

Major League Wrestling is a new wrestling company that has an old history. The founder of MLW is a former WWE writer name Court Bauer who opened the promotion in 2002 but shut it down in 2004. Many believed that in the early years of the company, it was a copy of ECW and wouldn’t do well. In 2017 Bauer revived the promotion, and it has been going strong ever since.

MLW runs its weekly show MLW Fusion every Wednesday on Youtube and has recently announced a deal with Vice TV. MLW is a reasonably new company but would be the right company for WWE to partner with. In this article, I will discuss the five dream matches that should happen between WWE and MLW

5. Santos Escobar Vs Myron Reed

A match between Santos Escobar and Myron Reed would be a show-stealer because it would highlight both wrestlers doing the high flying style they love to do. This match would be a cruiserweight fantasy match that would keep fans on their feet the whole time. Santos Escobar will be a massive star in the WWE because he is the Mexican crossover star that WWE has been searching for. A match with Myron Reed would help take both wrestlers to the next level if given the right time.

4. The Von Erichs Vs The Usos

This a personal tag team dream match that I have because both teams come from legendary wrestling families. The storytelling that can be told in this match would be excellent because of both teams. The Von Erichs being in a feud with the Usos would be a huge chance for them to show that they can be a top tag team in the world. The WWE hasn’t had a good tag team feud in years, and a match with the Von Erichs could lead to a needed WWE rebirth of tag team wrestling. It is essential to know that rather WWE wants to admit it or not, good tag team wrestling is something that wrestling fans want to see.

3. Richard Holliday Vs. Walter

Walter is the best wrestler on both NXT brands and should be treated like the monster that he is. A match between Richard Holliday and Walter would be a hard-hitting match that would help more people see that Richard Holliday should be taken seriously in professional wrestling. Walter has a legendary NXT UK title run proven to be one of the best title reigns In WWE history.

2. Alex Hammerstone Vs. AJ Styles

AJ Styles is a future WWE Hall of Famer that has proven that he can be the best wrestler in any company that he works for. A match with Alex Hammerstone would be a match to show the world that Alex can put on a good match with one of the greatest wrestlers ever. AJ styles can have a good match with anybody, and a dream match with Alex Hammerstone would be must-see television.

1. Jacob Fatu vs. Roman Reigns

The Samoan Werewolf Jacob Fatu is one of the best wrestlers globally, and his cousin Roman Reigns is the best wrestler in the WWE. A feud between the Anoa’i families’ top wrestlers would be a good feud that would involve great storytelling and wrestling. Roman Reigns has the best run in his professional wrestling career, and a match with his cousin would help take his legendary run to the next level.
