According to a Fightful Select report, Zelina Vega was at the WWE Performance Center on Thursday. Within this report, it is noted that the plan is for her to return to the company.

Vega was released in controversial fashion back on Friday, November 23. This came after the WWE push to take over ownership of talents’ presence on third-party platforms like Twitch and Cameo. When the regulation came down there were talks of many individuals being angry at the change, especially as the COVID-19 pandemic greatly hurt the performers’ ability to earn additional income as the industry had a near-complete shutdown. Vega was the only individual released as the situation gained steam. Vega was last seen on television on November 6 in a losing effort to Ruby Riot.

When Vega was released, she tweeted out about the support of unionization in professional wrestling, which caught the attention of many individuals including former United States Presidential hopeful, Andrew Yang, and the president of the SAG-AFTRA union group, Gabrielle Carteris who asked Vega to email her via a post on Twitter.

Vega’s husband, Aleister Black has not been used on WWE television since her release. There have been brief videos hinting toward his return, but he has not been seen on TV since October of 2020.
