AEW Women’s World Championship match: HIkaru Shida vs. Britt Baker
A round of applause for the over 1 year run of AEW Women’s champion Hikaru Shida. Time after time, performance after performance, Shida has been the best women’s wrestler on the roster since she won the championship at Double Or Nothing.
Britt Baker has been one of the stalwarts of AEW during the pandemic. Her character work has been flawless and she has improved as a wrestler when the bell rings. Her Lights Out’ match with Thunder Rosa is arguably the women’s match of the year Worldwide. Even in defeat, Baker stole the show with exquisite mannerisms’ and an incredible overall performance.
Hikaru Shida and Britt Baker are going to deliver a World-class match, I have zero doubts about that. What I’m also quite confident in is Britt Baker becoming the face of the AEW women’s division and the new champion. Kudos to the amazing run of Hikaru Shida, we truly appreciated your bouts as Women’s champ.

Miro vs. Lance Archer for the AEW TNT championship
Talk about going from 0 to 100, Miro came into AEW as a video game playing ‘best man’ for Kip Sabian. Then one day, he becomes the vicious assassin that we saw from his early WWE days. The result of his revert back to a serious monster was an AEW TNT title-clinching victory over Darby Allin.
Speaking of monsters, Lance Archer is the ‘Murderhawk’ of said monsters. at 6’8 and near 300 pounds, Archer is as imposing of a man as you will see in an AEW ring. There have been intermittent interaction’s between Archer and Miro, which has led us to this match at Double Or Nothing. (Pending Miro defeats Dante Martin on AEW Dynamite this Friday)
This is a hoss fight, two meaty men slapping meat! Any other superlatives you can use to describe two large men squaring off, feel free to insert those if you wish.
Miro just acquired the AEW TNT championship. While Archer is a very credible threat and has been presented as such over the last year, Miro should not be used as a transitional champion. Especially with his undefeated single’s record on the line as well.
