Heard from a very reliable source that FOX has privately pushed for a return to live crowds over the past few weeks, actively seeking updates on timeframes, etc. They’d like their billion dollar investment on the same playing field as the MLB, NBA & others.

Is Vince and Co. under any pressure?
Vince McMahon doesn’t give in so quickly to any pressure. Mr McMahon has been through a lot in his career in wrestling. One moment or any business cannot bother the peace of The Chairman of the Board. However, it looks like the time may have changed, and the boss may be under pressure from Fox.
A reliable news outlet, WrestleVotes recently, tweeted that FOX has privately asked for a specific timeframe on the fans return. It must be made aware that WWE recently posted that they would start their city tour from July 16th, and that would be the first day in a long time when fans will be in the arena in a capacity. We did see members of the WWE Universe during WrestleMania 37, but they were very few as per WrestleMania standards.
WWE bringing fans back and going on the city tour could be a part of this overall pressure that the wrestling juggernaut has faced from one of its television partners. Vince always knows a way out of any situation. It may be the method used by him and his team to stay out and away from any conflict.
