Another Hell in a Cell has come and gone. On SmackDown, Roman Reigns faced Rey Mysterio in a HIAC match that should’ve been saved for the pay-per-view. It seems they wanted more focus on Drew McIntyre vs. Bobby Lashley part 48586. The match should’ve been saved for the big show.

The actual pay-per-view itself featured two Hell in a Cell matches that bookended the show. It also had three women’s matches and another women’s match on the pre-show. Despite the rumors, there were no returns of The Fiend or Brock Lesnar. There were no title changes. No returns and no title changes are presumably because WWE will be heading back on the road soon and are being held for the live crowd.

I do have to give an Honorable Mention to Pat McAfee’s reaction to Bayley. Biting. Bianca. He was aghast by this dastardly deed. I laughed out loud at his reaction, especially when he told Michael Cole to “say it!”

Here are the top 3 moments from Hell in a Cell:

Sami Zayn bleeds all over the place while celebrating his win

For months, Sami Zayn has yelled about conspiracy theories to anyone who would listen (and to people who didn’t listen) about how WWE was holding him down. His former best friend tried to get him to see reason, but he refused.

At Hell in a Cell, the pair faced off once again. KO appeared to be injured in the match and still pulled off a one-armed Stunner. It wasn’t enough though as Zayn won the match. Clean.

It was quite the sight to see Zayn with a very bloody mouth yelling at Michael Cole that he didn’t want him to win and wiping the blood (in a pandemic) on Cole’s notes. Cole seemed legitimately disgusted while the winner yelled about justice.

MVP had big things poppin’ at Hell in a Cell

Not even a cage could keep MVP from helping Bobby Lashley. At one point, McIntyre and Lashley were in the corner and MVP slid a kendo stick between them.

When the original referee went down, a ref from the outside had to open the cage. When he did so, MVP snuck in. By this point, McIntyre had had enough and hit MVP with the Claymore. This left McIntyre distracted enough for “The All-Mighty” to do the Hurt Lock through a table.

The Scotsman went for another Claymore, but MVP held his leg down allowing Lashley to get the rollup pin to retain.

Bianca Belair delivers the KOD in a cage

Bayley is one of the best when it comes to cage matches. This night was no different. Bianca held her own all night. This was the MOTN for me.

Bayley spent much of the match focusing on using “The EST’s” hair against her. However, the SmackDown Women’s Champion found ways to get out of it and fight back. She delivered a Senton to her opponent on a ladder. The champ followed it up by sending Bayley into the turnbuckle. Once again, Belair used the ladder to her advantage and hit the KOD on the ladder for the win.

Next. 3 things WWE Hell in a Cell got right. dark

Hell in a Cell was a solid pay-per-view. Luckily, it was the last one inside the Thunderdome. There were no title changes, which seems to be keeping things in place for Money in the Bank, which will take place in front of fans.
