WWE Raw: Nikki A.S.H defeated Charlotte Flair in the main event

WWE SummerSlam is a few short weeks away. Before the WWE Universe turns its eyes to Las Vegas and Allegiant Stadium, everyone must get through another week of action across its weekly shows. Monday Night Raw is up first and Bill Goldberg is set to return to confront WWE Champion, Bobby Lashley. That, along with everything else is up for grabs on the red brand.

The night started off with Bobby Lashley and MVP by his side. They went right to business in addressing Bill Goldberg and his challenge. As MVP ran down the idea of Goldberg facing Lashley, the mentions resulted in Goldberg’s music hitting and he is making his way to the ring. Goldberg put the idea out that Lashley is afraid to face him. Goldberg made it clear that he’s next for Lashley at SummerSlam and Lashley didn’t flinch in the middle of the ring.

The first match of the night saw Drew McIntyre taking on Veer and Shanky in a two-on-one match with Jinder Mahal outside the ring.

Veer and Shanky had the early advantage as they were able to double team him, throwing him shoulder-first into the ring post. The two big men continued to take their turns on McIntyre, isolating him in the corner. But every time they attempted to pin McIntyre; he’d kick out at one.

McIntyre didn’t stay down long as he was able to get back to his feet and launch Veer with a suplex before hitting a neck breaker. McIntyre hit a spinebuster, but before he could hit the Claymore, Mahal jumped in to lay him out with a steel chair.

Drew McIntyre defeated Veer and Shanky via disqualification.

Women’s action was up next as Rhea Ripley took on Nia Jax.

Ripley couldn’t match power with Jax initially. Even her headbutt seemed to not have an impact on the bigger woman. Jax launched her into the ring post and then smashed her head into after.

Ripley was able to pick up the pace a bit, but Jax’s power was just too much for Ripley. She attempted to smash her head into the post again but missed. Ripley took out Shayna Baszler outside the ring, allowing Jax to capitalize on the mistake.

Back in the ring, Ripley continued to fight out of the worst positions, even hitting a head-scissors on Jax. Finally, the missile dropkick was enough to knock Jax down, but Jax kicked out at two. Jax smashed Ripley with a clothesline, then hit a leg drop but Ripley kicked out at two. Ripley went for the Riptide, but Baszler’s distraction allowed for Jax to be rolled up.

Mace and T-Bar were out for a tag team rematch against Mustafa Ali and Mansoor.

Mace immediately smashed Ali who was outside the ring, isolating Mansoor between he and T-Bar. T-Bar got the tag and he followed up with a shot on Ali outside the ring, before hitting an elbow drop for a two-count.

Mansoor was able get the tag to Ali and the smaller man was able to get off his offense on the two bigger men. Ali and Mansoor hit tandem dives on both sides of the ring, but T-Bar was able to fight back to get Ali into the ring. Ali planted T-Bar with the Tornado DDT while he was in the ropes. Mansoor accidentally knocked Ali off the top rope, and T-Bar used that moment to land a big boot to the face. He pinned Mansoor for the victory.

Mace and T-Bar defeated Mustafa Ali and Mansoor via pinfall.

Doudrop and Tamina were out for one-on-one action next, with Eva Marie at ringside.

Tamina dropped Doudrop early in the match, knocking her to the ground in the corner. Marie was a distraction outside the ring, allowing Doudrop to take over after smashing Tamina’s face into the ring post. She followed that up with a launching elbow drop into the ring. Doudrop landed a senton and then locked in a submission hold.

Tamina countered in the corner, knocking Doudrop to the group again. After forearms to the face, she landed a crossbody that knocked Tamina down. Doudrop went for her own crossbody and missed, allowing Tamina to hit the Samoan Drop and pick up the victory.

Tamina defeated Doudrop via pinfall.

MizTv broke down into another rematch between John Morrison and Damien Priest.

The bigger Priest was out to the advantage early, landing a big leg drop onto Morrison for a two-count. Morrison was able to get off some of his own offense until Priest put together a combination that left him out in the middle of the ring. He went up to the top and The Miz sprayed him with the drip stick, to open the opportunity for Morrison to attack.

Morrison tried a springboard attack and Priest caught him, bouncing him off the mat with the South of Heaven to pick up the pinfall.

Damian Priest defeated John Morrison via pinfall.

The post-match attack led to a tag team match with Ricochet and Priest joining sides to take on Sheamus and Morrison.

Ricochet went right to the high-flying offense early, knocking both Sheamus and Morrison around the ring. Morrison and the Miz took advantage of Ricochet outside the ring, allowing he and Sheamus to isolate him on their side of the ring.

Ricochet created some space for himself. Even hitting a big suplex on Morrison to make the tag to Priest. Priest looked to finish things off with the South of Heaven again but Sheamus made the save. Ricochet took care of him outside the ring, allowing Priest to hit the Reckoning on Morrison to get the win.

Ricochet and Damian Priest defeated Sheamus and John Morrison via pinfall.

Matt Riddle and Omos were up for a one-on-one match next in the show.

Riddle attempted to attack Omos before the bell rang and that didn’t help the situation at all. Riddle picked up the pace, trying to stick and move early. The moment Omos got his hands on Riddle’s neck, he tossed Riddle over the rope. Next, he launched him over the barricade like a child.

Riddle continued to fight back, hitting a series of knees to Omos’s face. He ran at the big man again, only to take a clothesline that flattened him to the mat. Omos followed up with the two-hand chokeslam, pinning him for the victory.

Omos defeated Matt Riddle via pinfall.

Karrion Kross and Keith Lee were up next for another rematch from last week.

The two big men locked up and grappled all around the ring. Lee started laying into Kross with body shots early, but Kross countered, stomping him in the corner. Lee hit the biggest move early with a slingshot crossbody from outside the ring onto Kross. Kross countered out of the corner with a boot to the face, and then an exploder suplex.

They ended up outside the ring and Kross hit another suplex, tossing Lee into the steel steps. Back in the ring Kross remained in control, knocking Lee down with a clothesline for a two-count. Lee was finally able to get some offense of his own rolling, landing a series of strikes to Kross, knocking him back into the corner.

Lee was in control after knocking Kross to the mat. He is following up with a shoulder block to knock the NXT Champion down. Kross countered out of the Spirit Bomb, but Kross answered with a forearm to the back of the head. Kross hit the cross-jacket submission, but Lee was able to power out of the hold. Lee would hit the Spirit Bomb to pick up a victory over Kross.

Keith Lee defeated Karrion Kross via pinfall.

Reginald was out next to defend the 24/7 championship against Akira Tozawa.

Tozawa was unable to get his hands on Reggie early as he was able to bounce his way out of every position. Both inside and outside the ring, Reggie remained one step ahead of Tozawa. Reggie knocked Tozawa to the mat, before hitting the front flip seated senton for the victory.

Reggie defeated Akira Tozawa via pinfall to retain the 24/7 Championship.

The main event of the evening was Nikki A.S.H against Charlotte Flair in a no holds barred match.

Nikki was off to the races early, throwing punches on Flair after a crossbody. But once Flair got going things quickly changed. They quickly ended up outside the ring where Flair wanted to put Nikki through the announce table. Every time Nikki attempted to mount offense, Flair would cut her off with her own. Flair even hit a spear that knocked Nikki through the barricade.

Back in the ring, Flair remained in firm control of the match. Nikki kept kicking out and fighting back as Flair kept toying with her. Flair went to grab some chairs, but Nikki kicked them into her face before hitting a tornado DDT outside the ring. The two women ended up brawling outside the ring until Flair tossed Nikki into the crowd. Nikki went for a crossbody, but Flair turned it into a powerbomb through the table outside the ring.

Flair attempted to pin Nikki with one foot on her chest, but the champion kicked out. Flair attempted to put Nikki through another table, but Nikki moved out the way at the last second. Nikki hit a hanging draping DDT from the middle rope and pinned Flair in the middle of the ring for the victory.
