The Young Bucks became AEW Tag Team Champions on November 7, 2020, by defeating FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) at Full Gear. By doing so, they added to an already impressive resume as one of the greatest tag teams of all time. With the upcoming All Out PPV airing on Sept. 5, fans are wondering what team will be the ones to challenge and possibly dethrone the current champions.

These are the three teams that could challenge The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

The Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Grayson)

Even though they failed to secure their spot as number one contenders along with Hangman Adam Page, the Dark Order are long overdue to be AEW Tag Team Champions. Evil Uno and Stu Grayson are two of the founding members of the popular faction, so it’s only right if they’re the two who go into All Out.

Winning the titles would be the perfect tribute to former leader Mr. Brodie Lee after his sudden passing in December 2020. Dark Order and the Young Bucks have crossed paths once or twice before, so this is the perfect matchup for the must-see PPV.

Santana & Ortiz

If this means a possible ending of the Pinnacle and Inner Circle feud, then I am all for it. Santana and Ortiz have easily become one of the most exciting tag teams in AEW, and aligning themselves with one of the greatest wrestlers of all time in Chris Jericho just makes it even better.

You rarely get to see matches that are on your fantasy booking list, but hopefully, Tony Khan will see the potential that a matchup with the Young Bucks could mean for AEW.

The Acclaimed

Okay, I had a little fun with this one. Although we only see “The Acclaimed” on AEW’s YouTube shows, AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation, they’ve seemed to become one of the most popular tag teams in the company.

Followed by Max Caster’s freestyle raps — that are controversial at times — and Anthony Bowens taking the microphone to shout “AEW! The Acclaimed has arrived”, they back it up with their amazing wrestling ability.

If AEW allows them to compete on AEW: Dynamite more often where they could be viewed by a national television audience, then everyone else would see how amazing a Young Bucks vs. The Acclaimed match would be.
