Jon Moxley vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi – NJPW United States Championship match

Moxley’s current run in AEW is all about seeking out the best talent that New Japan Pro Wrestling has to offer and just beating the holy hell out of them. After defeating Satoshi Kojima at All Out and Minoru Suzuki on this week’s Dynamite, I presume that Moxley’s hunt will continue.

Mox was reportedly supposed to face Hiroshi Tanahashi at All Out but plans changed late and they pivoted to Kojima instead. I was okay with this because stuff happens, but I’ve got to see this match eventually. I think it’s much bigger than a Dynamite episode, and that it should be at Full Gear.

It’s hard to pick a winner, but I think Moxley takes it and wins back the NJPW United States Championship.

Winner: Jon Moxley

The Nightmare Family (Cody Rhodes, Dustin Rhodes and Lee Johnson) vs. The Pinnacle (MJF, Wardlow, and Shawn Spears) – AEW Trios Championships Tournament Finals

It’s time. It’s time to introduce the badly needed Trios Championships into the AEW product.

There’s a ton of value in Trios titles, and the focal point of the titles should be to put titles on guys who aren’t ready for the main event scene just yet. There’s a ton of wrestlers who qualify for that role and could be elevated to that main event scene by being a co-holder of these titles.

But you could also stick them on a group like The Pinnacle. While they’re important and have been in tons of high-profile feuds, they haven’t captured championship gold just yet. And if The Pinnacle were to win both the trios titles and the tag team titles, every member of the group would hold gold.

This is something that other groups like the Inner Circle and The Elite have never achieved in the ranks of AEW, so it would instantly elevate both The Pinnacle and the Trios Titles to main event stardom.

Cody, Dustin, and Lee would be great finalists and have a great match with The Pinnacle, but there’s no value in putting the titles on them at the start – although they could win them down the road.

Winners: The Pinnacle

Britt Baker vs. Jade Cargill – AEW Women’s World Championship match

I don’t expect Britt Baker to lose her championship anytime soon, especially before Full Gear. As previously mentioned, her rematch with Thunder Rosa is reportedly penciled in for early 2022, and that’s where I see her losing the title.

Baker will beat Soho and maybe one other person before she runs into the undefeated buzzsaw, Jade Cargill. Cargill will have another two months to get reps in and improve more and more in the ring, which will permit her to be on the pay-per-view in a prominent match.

Baker should defeat Cargill with ease and continue on with her championship reign.

Prediction: Britt Baker

The Elite (The Young Bucks & Adam Cole) vs. CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Jungleboy

It seems that Danielson and Jungleboy are destined to join forces with each other to feud with The Elite, and if that’s the case, this is a great way to get all members involved in the feud on the card.

Jungleboy’s stock would continue to rise if he was afforded the chance to team with two of the greatest professional wrestlers ever in CM Punk and Bryan Danielson. Combine that with the fact that they’ll be facing the trio of The Young Bucks and Adam Cole, and it’s guaranteed to be one of the best AEW pay-per-view matches ever.

It’s a very, very tough match to pick because on one hand, you don’t want the Bucks to lose on their second PPV in a row and Cole to lose on his first, but the same can be said for Punk and Danielson.

I’d lean Punk, Danielson, and Jungleboy because The Elite is rather bulletproof and they’re on their momentous downfall at the moment.

Winner: CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Jungleboy

Miro vs. Malakai Black – TNT Championship match

I want Malakai Black to continue crushing people left and right and walk into Full Gear undefeated and take on the other undefeated beast, Miro.

Neither guy would be hurt by a loss considering that both guys are being booked as absolute unstoppable monsters, and there’s no denying it would be a fantastic, fresh matchup.

I’d have Malakai Black win the title in a long match, with Miro potentially winning it back down the line.

Winner: Malakai Black

Kenny Omega vs. Adam Page – AEW World Championship match

The matchup that has been building for what will be two and a half years at this point will finally come to fruition at 2021’s Full Gear. Kenny Omega will walk into this match around the 330ish day mark as AEW World Champion and will be met by the guy with so much momentum and fire behind him, “Hangman” Adam Page.

Omega will finally meet his match and will be defeated by Page, therefore bringing his wonderful, complex story arc to its highest of highs. It’s only poetic that the rematch takes place at the same PPV that Hangman lost to Kenny at last year, Full Gear.

Prediction: Hangman Page

Full Gear 2021 should be one of the better, if not the best AEW pay-per-view and when it’s following up the extravaganza that was All Out 2021, things are looking bright for the future of All Elite Wrestling.
