The upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite will include a Casino Ladder Match in which the winner will earn a future shot at the AEW World Title, currently held by Kenny Omega.

AEW has now announced that there will be seven participants in the match.  Six of these participants will be announced on Rampage, and the other will be the “joker”, a mystery entry that we will not know the identity of until he comes out for the match.

As AEW has added talent at a frenetic pace as of late, there are a number of talents that are capable of headlining cards that have been pushed to the mid-card or have disappeared from television for the most part.

Let’s take a look at the five men that would most benefit from a shot at the AEW World Title by getting a huge victory in the upcoming Casino Ladder Match.

Who would most benefit from a victory in the upcoming Casino Ladder Match?

5. Kip Sabian

The “Super Bad” one has been out of action ever since he was injured by Miro after the two of them suffered a loss in the Arcade Anarchy match against the Best Friends.

The way that Sabian was injured by Miro may have left the door open for him to come back as a face, which would work out perfectly for him to claim the “joker” spot and pull out an upset victory in the upcoming Casino Ladder Match.

The fact that Sabian has not ascended to the top of the card in his time in AEW makes this a long shot.

However, Sabian is a talented, young performer and the promotion has shown confidence in their young talent by putting them in big spots, ala Darby Allin, Jungle Boy, Sammy Guevara, and others.

4. Ethan Page

A lot of truth is said in jest.  This saying really hits home with “All Ego” Ethan Page as he is currently in a program with Scorpio Sky, Dan Lambert, and American Top Team in which The Men of the Year are complaining about lack of opportunity in AEW, especially considering their immense talent.

And they certainly are not wrong.

As Page pointed out on Dynamite last week, he has yet to be pinned or submitted in AEW.  His two losses have come in a tag team match (where Scorpio Sky took the loss) and in a coffin match against Darby Allin.

Page is very good in the ring and on the microphone and he is very capable of excelling in a feud or match with anyone on the roster.

But the fact that he is firmly entrenched in his current role as a heel, as is current AEW Champion, Kenny Omega, ensures that there is very little shot that Page will win this match.
