WWE Raw Superstar, Mustafa Ali, has confirmed that he will donate his Crown Jewel earnings to charity.

Ali took to Twitter to share the news “Earnings from the 10/21 event will be donated to charity.”

The former Retribution leader will be facing hometown hero, Mansoor, in a one-one-one match at  Crown Jewel. The match will mark the first-ever time two Muslims will have a singles match on a WWE pay-per-view.

He also wrote on Twitter “though i wish some of the circumstances were different, i’m still thankful that for the first time ever two muslims will have a singles match on a wwe ppv. i’m thankful that for one night, @KSAMANNY and i get to be what we wanted to see growing up.”

This isn’t the first time Ali has donated his Saudi show pay check. He also donated his 2019 Super Showdown earnings to charity.

Mustafa Ali sheds positive light on controversial WWE event

WWE’s partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will always come under scrutiny. We have to remember that there is also a lot of good that comes out of these events. Mustafa Ali donating his earnings to charity is one of them. It is highly commendable that he would do such a thing, considering he is not one of WWE’s higher paid superstars on the roster. It shows his personal character and that he quite clearly has a heart of gold.

The fact that we will see two Muslim superstars battle one-on-one for the first-ever time on a WWE pay-per-view is another positive and is also history making. No matter who you are or what you believe in, we all have a dream. Mustafa Ali and Mansoor will inspire Muslims all around the world, young and old. The pair will do the WWE Universe proud on Thursday at Crown Jewel, no matter the outcome of the match.
