WWE SmackDown Results November 19: Last stop before Survivor Series

WWE SmackDown results live from the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. WWE has announced that Sasha Banks will take on Shotzi. A Fatal 4-Way match will take place to determine the final member of the men’s SmackDown team at Survivor Series as Cesaro, Sheamus, Ricochet and Jinder Mahal will square off. It is also been advertised that Universal Champion Roman Reigns will take his throne. The episode will be the final episode before WWE Survivor Series this Sunday night on Peacock and WWE Network.

WWE SmackDown Results – November 19, 2021

The show kicks off with a recap of last week’s main event between Roman Reigns and King Woods. In the arena, the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The Uso’s, are in the ring. They introduce the Universal Champion and Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman. Paul Heyman gets the crowning of the Tribal King underway, but Reigns interrupts. Roman says he doesn’t want this and doesn’t need it.

King Woods comes out and The Bloodline goad King Woods with his props in the ring. The Uso’s trash his cape and throne. Roman then questions Woods whether he cares about this stuff. As Reigns was about to stomp on the crown, King Woods hit the ring only to be attacked by The Bloodline. Reigns then stamps on the crown smashing it into pieces as The Uso’s held Woods down on the ground.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews King Woods. Woods says that the Roman Empire will fall later tonight.

Cesaro vs. Sheamus vs. Ricochet vs. Jinder Mahal in a Fatal 4-Way match with the winner advancing to the men’s Survivor Series team on Sunday

An enthralling and a high-octane match that had it all. In the end, Ridge Holland made his way down to the ring causing a distraction to give Sheamus the assist. The Celtic Warrior hit the Brogue Kick on Cesaro to pick up the win.

Winner: Sheamus

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Jeff Hardy. Hardy discusses the SmackDown team for Survivor Series. Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss approach him as Moss tells a joke. He and Corbin laugh. WWE Official Adam Pearce appears and says he wants SmackDown to win on Sunday, but for tonight it will be Madcap Moss vs. Jeff Hardy. Jeff then laughs at them.

Backstage, Sheamus and Ridge Holland are interviewed. Sheamus can’t believe he has someone who believes in him. Ridge calls Sheamus his idol and suggests they go to the pub to celebrate.

A video package is shown of the history between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch heading into their match RAW Women’s Champion vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion match this Sunday at Survivor Series.

Aliyah & Naomi vs. Shayna Baszler & Natalya

This one was over quickly as the referee hit a fast count when Natalya pinned Naomi. The commentators move on immediately after it, despite it being a serious contentious moment.

Winner: Natalya & Shayna Baszler

Backstage, Sami Zayn is speaking with WWE Official Sonya Deville. Sami isn’t happy he is no longer on the SmackDown team this Sunday. Deville says that was all Adam Pearce. Sonya says in celebration of The Rock’s 25 year anniversary of debuting in WWE, there will be a 25-man Battle Royal at Survivor Series. The referee from the Naomi & Aliyah vs. Shayna & Natalya match appears and asks Sonya if she did a good job. Sonya says she wants nothing to do with crooked referees and tells her to get out of her face.

Jeff Hardy vs. Madcap Moss w/ Happy Corbin

Jeff Hardy introduced Drew McIntyre to be in his corner for the match. Drew took out Happy Corbin outside of the ring during the match. Jeff Hardy picked up the win giving Madcap his first singles defeat on SmackDown. Drew gave Corbin a Claymore and then Hardy a Swanton Bomb to Madcap after the match.

Winner: Jeff Hardy

Backstage, Kayla speaks with Paul Heyman. Heyman says Roman Reigns accepts King Woods challenge to meet him in the ring later tonight.

Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura w/ Rick Boogs vs. Angel Garza w/ Humberto Carrillo in a non-title match

Another quick match with Shinsuke picking up the win.

Winner: Intercontinental Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura

Backstage in gorilla, Sonya Deville is in the middle of Sasha Banks and Shotzi. Sonya says she expects both women to shake hands after their match.

Sasha Banks vs. Shotzi

Shotzi worked on Sasha’s left arm to slow down her arsenal. In the end, Sasha managed to lock in the Banks Statement using her right arm and leg. A very good match. Both shake hands after the match, but Sasha, who is captain of the team, deliviered a Backstabber to Shotzi, as Sonya Deville watched on from the entrance ramp.

Winner: Sasha Banks

Backstage, Roman Reigns asks Paul Heyman if it is time. Reigns tells The Uso’s he will do this by himself and heads to the ring to face King Woods in the middle of the ring.

A new vignette is played in the form of a comic book sketch promoting the arrival of “The Protector” Xia Li.

Backstage, FINALLY, we get a moment with Toni Storm after she was announced for the women’s SmackDown team for Sunday night. Toni Storm says she wants to face Charlotte Flair after Charlotte loses to Becky Lynch on Sunday. SmackDown Women’s Champion, Charlotte, appears and say she will give Toni a match after she’s done with Becky Lynch, and will do to her what she does to Becky.

King Woods makes his way to the ring. He calls out Roman Reigns who makes his way out. Before Reigns enters the ring, someone throws Jimmy and Jey onto the entrance ramp. WWE Champion, Big E, then reveals himself. Big E and Roman then brawl around the ringside area. Big E and King Woods then team up to beat The Uso’s down in the ring, with Big E delivering a Big Ending. Woods then flies over the top rope to take out The Uso’s out again. Roman then re-appears to hit a Superman punch. Big E then tries to get Roman up for the Big Ending but The Tribal Chief escapes.
